Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at ladydunn86@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Yes, reservations are required for boarding your pet. We do have limited space for all of our guests. Make sure to get your reservation in early, especially if it is during a peak holiday or school break.

Please bring in your pet’s vaccination records, any medication, food supply (enough for duration of stay), and any personal items

Before your pup can dive into all the fun at our home, we’ll need to see proof of these core vaccines: DHPP, Rabies, Bordetella, and Canine Influenza.
Your dog must have at least the first dose of the two-part Canine Influenza vaccine.

And let’s not forget our feline friends!
We kindly ask for proof of a current FVRCP and Rabies vaccine.

All vaccinations must be administered by a licensed veterinary professional. Thanks for helping us keep all our furry guests safe and happy!

We actually encourage and require a visit to our home. We have a pet of our own, Charlie. Charlie is a friendly 7 year old, black lab and loves having friends over. We want to make sure that our pets get along before making the reservation with us.

When you contact us through email or phone, we will setup a time for you to come view our home. It will normally be between the hours of 7:30am – 7:30pm. We do make exceptions outside of those hours; just let us know!

At Unboarded Pets, our home is open to all pets with no crates or kenneling (with exceptions). Your pet will be exposed to all pets that are staying during your reserved time. We do monitor our pets at all times and make sure they are getting long. In the case that you want your pet separated or we see an issue between pets, we have spaces available to separate pets (still no kennel or crate, they will get their own room).

Earliest time available for drop-off is at 7:30am. You can drop off anytime through out 7:30am – 7:30pm. If you need to schedule a time outside of those hours, please contact and notify us.

We do begin the 24 hour time for boarding beginning from the time of drop-off. I.e. you drop your pet off at 9am, expected time of pickup would be 9am the next day. Anytime after that we would begin our service rate of $5 an hour, up to $30. If you are not able to pick up your pet after 8pm, our service rate would change back to our regular boarding fee.

Please see our pricing page for a detailed listing of all of our services and rates.

Pet Daycare and Home Visits

Yes we do! Daycare visits are between the hours of 7:30am and 5pm. If you need home visits instead of daycare, we can do that too. Please see our pricing page for a detailed listing of all of our services and rates. For home visits, we recommend that we have a home visit to introduce ourselves and understand the routine for the pet (portion to feed, does the pet need to be walked, potty time routine, etc…)

Only if you want to bring your pet a treat or if they need to eat. We will still require that your pet is vaccinated (see “What vaccinations are required”).

All we would need is either a key to your home, or how to access your home. How often for to make a visit, portions to feed, anything that we would need to do to make your pet comfortable. We do also offer walking or prolonged visit to your home if requested.

Pet Feeding

No you do not. While we encourage you to bring your own bowls, we will be able to accommodate your pet if it is forgotten at home. No extra charge

Yes, we encourage you to bring your pets food that aligns with their diet.

No you do not. As long as you prescribe how many times your pet is fed, and portion size.

Absolutely! Let us know of any preferred way you like to have your pet receive the treat! We also carry treats and will ask permission from you during check-in/meet and greet if it is ok for them to receive treats.

Pet Accessories

It is encouraged that you bring your pet a bed, blanket, or toy. These will be available for your pet at all times throughout the day. Anything that reminds them of home is OK to bring!

Please do! We take the pets out on walks and have a limited number of leashes. We also encourage for you to let us know what their walking habits are.
